Valentines Day is on the way and what better way then with delicious desserts!?
These petit fours are cute and easy to make! Using the silicone mold is great for a clean edged but if you dont have one you can always bake this recipe in a sheet cake and use cutters to cut out the shapes or cut with a knife into little squares!
Cheesecake flavored petit four cake:
1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 package cheesecake pudding
1 stick unsalted butter, room temp
1 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and pudding. Set aside.
Beat butter and sugar together on medium high speed until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time.
Add in half of flour mixture and stir until just combined. Add in cream and stir until combined. Add in remaining flour mixture and mix just until combined.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Champagne Poured Fondant
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp light corn syrup
1 tsp champagne extract
3/4 cup white chocolate
Over a double boiler whisk together powdered sugar, water, corn syrup, and extract. continue whisking until the mixture becomes smooth. It should be thin enough to drizzle from a spoon but not too thin it runs off a cake.
When it is smooth add white chocolate and stir until melted.
